Growing up in Pakistan for most of his life, Adeel learned the harsh realities that come with a country ravaged by political turmoil, conservative extremism, and sectarian violence. His family faced re-housing several times due to financial instability.

However, Adeel’s greatest challenge arrived when his father passed away unexpectedly, leaving Adeel with the responsibility to keep a roof above his family’s heads.

Today, Adeel lives in NY and works at a multi-billion dollar tech startup. In his free time, he mentors high school students, trains in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and contemplates his love/hate relationship with NY.
